We believe you should know how CelebTea is funded and how we keep money from influencing what we publish. This page lays out our approach plainly.

Editorial independence comes first

Our editorial decisions are made by the CelebTea Editors alone. Advertisers and sponsors do not get to choose our topics, review our articles before publication, or change our conclusions. If a piece praises or criticizes something, that judgment is ours — never something that was paid for.

How we may earn money

• Display advertising. We may show ads on the site. These are clearly visual advertisements, kept separate from our articles, and are not endorsements of the products shown.
• Sponsored content. If we ever publish something paid for by a sponsor, it will be labeled clearly as sponsored or paid, so you always know what you are reading. Sponsored material is held to the same honesty standard as everything else.
• Affiliate links. Some links — for example, to a way of buying tickets or a product we mention — may be affiliate links, meaning we could earn a small commission if you make a purchase. This never changes the price you pay, and we only include such links where they are genuinely useful.

What advertising never buys

Advertising and sponsorship never buy a good review, favorable coverage, or a place in our recommendations. We do not run “pay to play” lists. If we recommend something, it is because we think it is worth your attention, not because someone paid for the slot.

Our content standards still apply

Everything on this site, including any sponsored material, follows the same rule as the rest of our work: we do not invent news, quotes or claims about real people. Commercial relationships do not get us to bend that rule.
